The hypothetical Ferrari “Vicenza” design project imagines a similar car with two doors

Even though they don’t make too many vehicles a year, Ferrari manages to attract media attention. They’re doing it now because they plan to live an electric lifestyle in the future.

Ferrari

The funnily named Ferrari 12 Cylinder Exotic was the Italian automaker’s most recent ‘opera’. The two-seater front-mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive grand tourer Type F167 built by the Italian sports car maker is undoubtedly a tribute to the great grand tourers of the 1950s and 1960s. Its V12 engine, which boasts 6.5 liters and 830 horsepower without the aid of turbochargers or hybrid technology, was also designed to excite.

Although they claim to continue producing V12 engines until they are outlawed, they are still considering an electrified future; The 296 and SF90 are examples of their PHEV cars. A fully electric Ferrari that will easily cost more than half a million dollars will be available soon. Recent spy photos show a prototype with fun fake exhaust tips and a hot hatchback styling that is reminiscent of the Purosangue, but we doubt fans of the Prancing Horse will find this design appealing when the camouflage is removed.

Instead, someone out of the creative world of digital automobile content artists has provided a solution for the parallel universes of vehicle CGI: an EV that could join the Purosangue as Ferrari’s upcoming crossover vehicle. At the moment, it’s only a speculative, unofficial concept. The lovely folks at car.design.trends have drawn our attention to a potentially groundbreaking idea for a new type of Ferrari: a coupe-SUV with only two doors and an imposing presence.

It all started with an idea from Cheehon Lee, a student at the Korea National University of Arts and a virtual artist known as chee_honey on social media. The Ferrari Vicenza design concept was inspired by the idea of aerodynamic components that “enter” the body, such as the rear lateral vents that direct airflow from behind the taillights through the fenders and out the back.

Without a doubt, this model is fully electric. As a result, the vehicle lacks large intake and exhaust outlets at the front and rear, respectively. As Pixel Master made sure to demonstrate, the Ferrari Vicenza project is designed to run in any weather conditions. It can be driven on rocky, dry, or snowy surfaces. Sadly, the author doesn’t show any view of the cockpit or the type of electric drivetrain that will be located under the long hood.

However, it does appear to be much more sleek and stylish than what Ferrari has planned for the EV revolution. Until then, the Purosangue has been praised as one of the most entertaining SUVs ever; it’s a four-door car with unmatched handling and sound quality, so at this price, critics will undoubtedly find it appealing. So would you like to buy this dreamy, unofficial Vicenza coupe SUV
