2025 GMC Terrain Interior Revealed: A Sneak Peek at Upcoming Changes
Third-generation 2025 GMC Terrain
The much-awaited third-generation 2025 GMC Terrain is set to debut this year, with the promise of several updates and improvements, especially in its interior design. GM Authority’s recent exclusive provided a glimpse of what drivers can expect, and now, our spies have captured the first images of the 2025 GMC Terrain interior, confirming these reports.
With the camouflage removed, the interior looks identical to the all-new 2024 GMC Acadia, including a familiar layout and control scheme. Drivers will find themselves behind a four-pronged steering wheel, complete with convenient hard buttons at 9 and 3 o’clock positions. Behind the wheel is an impressive 11-inch driver information center, a feature shared with the 2024 Acadia and 2025 Chevy Equinox. Vehicle controls, including the EPS selector, are conveniently located in the column for easy access.
One of the standout features is the large, vertically oriented portrait-style infotainment screen located in the center stack. This screen, equipped with an integrated volume knob and a series of switches and hard buttons for the HVAC system, is similar to the screen seen in the 2024 Acadia and 2024 GMC Sierra EV. Additionally, drivers can expect to feature an inductive phone charger located beneath the center console, along with ample storage space.
The 2025 Terrain will share many features with its counterpart, the 2025 Chevy Equinox, including door cards, armrests, and other rigid items. However, the main difference between the two models is expected to be the screen.
Under the hood, the all-new Terrain will feature a turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine, while an updated version of the GM D2 platform will provide the underpinnings. GM has confirmed that the 2025 GMC Terrain will be launched in mid-2024, promising an exciting new driving experience for enthusiasts and casual drivers alike.
