Toyota warns drivers of 50,000 cars to stop driving immediately and get repairs: See models affected

Toyota has given a “don’t drive” warning for roughly 50,000 more seasoned vehicles in the US to encourage drivers to quit driving the vehicles right away and get their airbags fixed.

The notification, posted by the vehicle maker last Thursday, covers the accompanying models: 2003-2004 Corolla, 2003-2004 Corolla Framework and 2004-2005 RAV4.

These models are engaged with the Takata airbag reviews, Toyota said in the warning: “Certain airbags found in the subject vehicles are under a pressing airbag security review.”

“Because of the age of the vehicles, if the airbag conveys, a section inside is bound to detonate and shoot sharp metal parts which could make serious injury or demise the driver or travelers,” Toyota said in the warning. “Proprietors shouldn’t drive these vehicles until the free security review fix has been directed.”

Toyota says proprietors ought to contact their neighborhood seller as opposed to driving the vehicle to be fixed and that vendors might give one of a few choices for nothing, like portable fix at the vehicle’s area, towing to the showroom, vehicle pickup and conveyance, or other substitute transportation choices.

The organization said it will fix or trade the airbag free of charge.
